The 31st Memorial Danilo Re will take place in Heiligenblut am Großglockner, a founding municipality of the Hohe Tauern National Park.
Heiligenblut am Großglockner is best known beyond national borders for its location at Austria’s highest mountain and the Gothic church of St. Vincent. It is situated in the northwest of Carinthia, on the border with Salzburg and East Tyrol.
Thanks to its strong tourism orientation, including Carinthia’s highest-altitude natural ski area, the village is ideally suited for hosting the competitions. Its modern infrastructure, particularly the National Park Visitor Center “Haus der Steinböcke,” also makes it an excellent venue for ranger seminars and the ALPARC General Assembly.
